Now that our website is complete, Forgione Lumber Company,LLC has been re-established in 2023. We are a very small company that sells small quantities of firewood. When I say small quantities, I really mean small quantities. The only reason for the smaller amounts of firewood is the only wood transportation vehicle is my pickup truck. The carrying capacity is equivalent to a ⅓ cord of firewood.
Part of my decision to sell smaller quantities of firewood is based in part there are people that are occasional burners for having the ambiance of a fireplace or the outdoor firepits. Another reason is there are people that do not have the storage space for larger quantities of firewood. Perhaps it’s the limit of one cord or less. You, the homeowner, know best. I’ve discovered there are firewood dealers that won’t sell you less than a cord. Here at Forgione Lumber Company, we make smaller amounts available.
In the near future,we will be selling bagged firewood in 1.0 cubic foot bags. Currently O.C.McCuin in Highgate Center will be selling them for us. I will have bagged firewood to sell from our location. I can guarantee one thing, you will get more firewood than the bundled firewood you see at Tractor Supply and Kinney Drugs. We haven’t established a price,but you will be pleased with the price.
