Forgione Lumber Company week of September 3,2025

Writing this blog is on my own free will. I am not compensated by anyone.Part of the process of making firewood depends a lot on manual and physical labor. When the job of turning logs into firewood and rough cut lumber exceeds the limits of physical labor, it’s time to call on mechanical help. For that help, I call on my John Deere 2032r tractor. In March 2023, I purchased my John Deere 2032r from United Ag and Turf located at 482 Route 78 in Swanton,Vermont 05488. My association with John Deere began in August 2006 when I bought my first ever John Deere 2305.

I owned my 2305 for 17 years. In that time, the 2305 performed as advertised. From lawn mowing, snow removal, and hauling topsoil, my 2305 was very reliable. Sometime in 2021, I began a firewood and sawmill operation and the 2305 was unable to handle lifting firewood baskets. So my search for a larger machine began with a visit to United Ag and Turf. This is where I met Eric Severy, who took my concerns seriously. Eric took the time to research lifting capabilities of the 2305 and other Tractors in the John Deere fleet. Eric determined a 2032r possessed a greater lift capacity. I gave Eric my inputs to features of a John Deere. Within two weeks, a shiny new John Deere arrived in my driveway.

The annual and unscheduled maintenance is always performed by several experienced mechanics. No matter what the problem may be, they always have a solution. The parts department operates with due diligence to find you the right part for your machine. My association with United Ag and Turf is over 19 years. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Mark Gilmond, the manager of the Swanton United Ag and Turf.Mark takes his job seriously and strives for excellence in everything that concerns total customer care. To my readers,if you’re in the market for John Deere equipment choose United Ag and Turf. You won’t regret it.
