My first blog post since last month. Much has been happening here at Forgione Lumber Company. First of all, we are expecting our first log delivery tomorrow morning.Shortly after that, we will begin processing our firewood. However, before that begins, I must finish splitting last winter’s odd shaped pieces that will be our custom made firewood.This firewood is dry and ready for sale. This firewood is perfect for your outdoor burning pits or pizza ovens. Speaking of pizza, I have made 14 inch pizzas with fresh dough, caramelized onions, sliced black olives, and turkey pepperoni. This is a low fat, high protein pizza that happens to be a favorite of my family.
Some other noteworthy achievements are we are adding more IBC totes for wood storage, the online store will be adding several new products and look for us at local craft shows in the Franklin county, Vermont area. Also we will be attending the Northeast loggers expo at the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds in Essex Junction, Vermont. Look for us on Facebook, “Firewoods and Sawmills”.
